Check to the Queen' is a 1969 film directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile, loosely based on the novel of the same name (1967) by Renato Ghiotto, translated into English in 1969 under the title 'The Slave'.

The original score was created by Maestro Piero Piccioni, during one of the most influential and prolific decades of the composer, the 60s. In "Scacco alla Regina" Piccioni brings a sensual atmosphere mixed with the smooth jazz sound, everything wrapped and colored by the movement of orchestral strings that makes Piccioni just unique.
